ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Francisco Villarreal was born in the small village of Minzapan in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. He completed his primary and secondary schooling in this small village, then completed his post-secondary studies in the field of Administration at the Technological Institute in the city of Minatitlan. For more than a year now, he has devoted himself full-time to producing art.

Dr. Don K. Philpot is a university professor, literary artist, and published writer who met Francisco through a moderated Facebook Group in January 2022. He helps Francisco to circulate and sell his artwork in the United States and Canada, both originals and prints, but seeks no personal gain from the sales of his artwork. Dr. Philpot and Francisco look forward to the day when he is able to support himself as an artist.

 

Dr. Philpot currently teaches undergraduate and graduate literacy courses in the Department of Teacher Education at Shippensburg University in south central Pennsylvania. His published books are available for purchase on amazon.com.
